Submissions are your first impression, especially for promo companies you've never been booked with. Yet, many of us are lacking when it comes to submissions. When filling out profiles or sending emails, following instructions is critical. What you may think is small potatoes is likely the reason your submission is getting skipped over. Don't worry, I'm a firm believer that having understanding and context helps to connect the dots on the reasons why.
Are you tired of the frustration of not getting booked?
Do you find it hard to get booked by new promo companies?
Are you burnt out from submitting for new events?
Do you have questions you would actually want answered without the fluffy answers?
You are not alone. I promise you. I recently concluded a contract with a client and I kept running into the same issue when reviewing submissions from promo workers. This is why I wanted to discuss this topic in my next Facebook live. I see your status-s and I've read your message to the blog. It's time to centralize the conversation.
In my live I will be going over 5 more reasons why your submissions are being skipped over, explaining the logic behind various turn-offs and pet peeves staffers have and I'll be providing you with resources to move forward in your adventures as promo workers.
Why tune in with me?
When I eventually became a staffer, I simply didn't have the time or bandwidth to explain why things were the way they were in the promo world. After I created my own project management company and was no longer tied to an NDA, I became free enough to speak freely about these things without having to worry about what a supervisor would think about the content I was putting out (because that's a real thing).
I've booked many promo workers and they all know that I started in the game as a brand ambassador even though I still recruit brand ambassadors for other brands, I still work promo events because I love it! It keeps me connected to the reality of being out in the field.
TUNE IN TO MY LIVE ON FACEBOOK FOR 5 REASONS WHY YOUR SUBMISSIONS ARE BEING SKIPPED OVER FOR EVENTS!
