My blog TheRockstarPromo.com is an extension of my company L.O.P.I., LLC. 

I started the TheRockstarPromo.com blog with the primary objective of addressing the myriad of unanswered questions that promo workers often have regarding the intricacies of the experiential marketing industry. This blog is not merely a collection of articles; it is a dedicated resource aimed at providing insightful tips, practical advice, and valuable information from a Staffer's perspective to individuals engaged in promo gigs. This includes a wide range of roles such as brand ambassadors, social media influencers, event managers, promo staffers, product specialists, and many others who play crucial roles in the execution of promotional events. As we recognize, those working on the front lines of marketing and promotions are often inundated with tasks and responsibilities, leaving little time for them to delve into the 'why' and 'how' of industry operations. This lack of clarity can lead to frustrations for both Staffers and the brands they represent, making the environment challenging and sometimes overwhelming. Thus, I created this blog to serve as a vital bridge, facilitating communication and understanding by providing answers to the many questions that field professionals have about experiential marketing.

ABOUT ONNA

With nearly a decade of experience in the promotional events industry, I have had the opportunity to recruit, book, and hire over 4,000 exceptional staff members for more than 1,200 diverse events. These events range from trade shows and fairs to festivals, sports games, grand openings, product demonstrations, conventions, travel engagements, parades, and much more. My journey in the promotional world began as a brand ambassador, where I first gained hands-on experience and insight into the industry's dynamics. As I navigated through the ups and downs of this vibrant sector, I found myself delving deeper into the various roles and responsibilities that define it. I eventually advanced to the position of event manager and then to Promo Staffer, where I took on the responsibility of recruiting and booking fantastic brand ambassadors who excelled as brand advocates, just as I once did. Having experienced both sides of the equation, I have a unique understanding of why many of your pressing questions about the promo industry often remain unanswered. Opportunities for meaningful dialogue are unfortunately scarce, primarily because Staffers are often stretched thin with their busy schedules. My aspiration with TheRockstarPromo.com is to effectively close that communication gap, providing a platform where insights and knowledge can be shared openly.

   

Throughout my journey, I have come to understand the myriad challenges, successes, and unexpected turns that individuals face within the industry. My mission is to support you in navigating these complexities and to empower you to become a true ROCKSTAR in the promotional world!!!
